Message To generate 15 psi for a bigger volume, you need more quantity of air.

Kinda like sticking your thumb over a garden hose. You are taking the same amount of water, but by putting your thumb there, you are effectively decreasing the size of the hose it so the water shoots farther from the higher pressure generated. To get that amount of pressure with a bigger hose (ie remove thumb from hose), you need a lot more water.

To bring that back to turbos, 15 psi with a larger turbo means more air going into the motor that 15 psi on smaller turbos, thereby producing more power. How the wastegates SEE that pressure is no different. All it sees is 15 psi.

I think I'm on the right track here ... of course I haven't had coffee yet this morning.
